Treasurer Beadle receives National Service Award

Treasurer Thomas Beadle has been awarded the Harlan Boyles/Edward T Alter Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of State Treasurers. This award “is presented to a dedicated and committed public servant whose outstanding career in government has provided a respected voice for NAST at all levels of government.”

Treasurer Beadle has previously awarded the Jesse M Unruh Award by NAST.

This award was given in recognition for Treasurer Beadle’s service as President of the National Association of State Treasurers in 2025, and his advocacy on issues regarding Financial Literacy, Unclaimed Property programs, and state debt management.

“I’m humbled to receive this recognition from my peers. It is thanks to their collective stewardship of state taxpayer dollars that we are able to lead with trust on these important issues for our citizens. I’m thrilled with the work we’ve been able to accomplish and look forward to continuing to move the ball forward.”
